In the previous decad, thirumangai AzhwAr enjoyed bhAgavatha SEshathvam (being servitor of bhAgavathas). That will lead to bhagavath vishayam (bhagavAn). Thus, AzhwAr acquired desire; that desire too was not keeping AzhwAr patient as in “If it comes, I won’t leave; if it does not come, I will not search for it”, but was making AzhwAr say “I want to attain him immediately”; because of not attaining emperumAn immediately, that leads to AzhwAr attaining feminine mood, and due to that, AzhwAr is singing these pAsurams in the mood of a pirAtti (divine consort of bhagavAn), i.e., parakAla nAyaki, who is having union with him occasionally, and is saying “bhagavAn has arrived in thiruvazhundhUr to grant eternal union with me”.
