Oh, one who burnt down the two wrestlers, chANUra and mushtika, who appeared like mountains, through the fire of their fear of you! You should consume milk such that your divine, radiant chest is filled up with milk, by coming and getting up onto my lap, keeping your mouth on one bosom while twirling the other bosom with the other divine hand, and consuming milk from both bosoms alternately, taking rest in between, now and then.

vyAkhyAnam (Commentary)

irumalai … – due to the eminence of their forms and their firmness, the two wrestlers, chANura and mushtika, looked like two mountains. Oh, one who burnt down their bodies through the fire of their fear [of you]!

thiruvAimozhip piLLai, says in his svApadhESam that AzhwAr is referring to the two monsters, madhu and kaitaba, who went to thiruppARkadal [milky ocean] in order to harm emperumAn and who were burnt down by thiruvananthAzhwAn (AdhiSEshan) such that their forms were destroyed beyond recognition. Alternatively, this would refer to the two wrestlers arranged by kamsan to harm you but who were burnt down due to the fire of their fear about you.

un …– your divine chest, which is very beautiful and radiant. malidhal – excessive. Alternatively, the term thiru could be considered as referring to pirAtti [SrI mahAlakshmi] and due to her presence, your divine chest is radiant.

thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that the phrase could be un thiru malindhu thigazh mArvu thErkka vandhu en algul Eri [instead of thEkka vandhu …]. He says that malidhal refers to emperumAn’s divine chest which is radiant, being identified by periya pirAtti [SrI mahAlakshmi] who is referred to as sarva bhUthAnAm Isvari [controller of all the creations], being distinct from everyone starting with the controller of village level to the lord of all the universes which are covered under the expansive area of 50 crore miles and those who are in nithya vibhUthi. thErkka refers to the identity provided by such periya pirAttiyAr, due to which your divine chest is radiant. He is Sriya:pathi, because of her. malidhal – abundance; thErkkai – identity. Alternatively, if the text were thEkka vandhu en algul ERi, it would refer to consuming milk from my bosom such that it fills up to the level of your divine chest.

thEkka – to stagnate. To be filled-up with bosom-milk.

vandhu en algul ERi – getting up onto my lap.

oru mulai … – keeping one bosom in your divine mouth and twirling the other bosom between your fingers, you should consume milk from both bosoms, taking rest now and then, due to excessive flow of milk from the bosoms.

thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that AzhwAr is telling krishNa that he should twist his body in between, while consuming the milk from bosoms. He should sit on the lap and consume milk.
