Oh one who ruled me (even in the past)! Oh one who is eternally residing in the dhivyadhESam named thiruviNNagar! If you can bestow the unconditional grace to have me worship you, please do so. I don’t desire to be present in this samsAram.
Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
pArezhu … – Being the controller of seven [layered] earth, seven oceans and seven mountains; you subdued these beautiful seven worlds and everything else in your beautiful stomach. With this – bhagavAn being the AdhAram (substratum) of everything which is indicated by words, is shown.
Or ezhuththu Or uru AnavanE – Oh one who is indicated by the akAra which is the foremost of the collection of words!
