Based on AzhwAr’s taste towards dhivyadhESams, ISvaran placed him here; but the same place has worldly pleasures too; just as if those who are used to water are placed on the shore, due to old habits, they will enter the water again, though dhivyadhESams are present here, if we are present in the places where worldly pleasures are active, there is scope to get drowned in those pleasures. Hence, ISvaran too may end up thinking “AzhwAr may be interested in worldly pleasures” and let AzhwAr slip out of him; AzhwAr is submitting to ISvaran about the great taste he has towards bhagavath vishayam (matters related to bhagavAn) where he cannot survive without seeing bhagavAn, and the distaste towards samsAram (worldly pleasures) where he cannot survive without giving it up, to be understood well by bhagavAn. AthmA did not remain in samsAram since eternity due to not being bhagavath arham (existing for bhagavAn), but remained here due to the closeness towards achith (worldly matter), Hence one should get it eliminated.
