In the previous thirumozhi (divine verses), in 4.4.11 “AdhiyAn adiyAraiyum adimaiyinRith thirivAraiyum”, the evils of samsAris and the eminence of SrIvaishNavas were mentioned. While samsAris too have the same bhagavath sambandham [connection with bhagavAn], the reason for sidelining them is the lack of such knowledge. In this thirumozhi, AzhwAr instructs the samsAris about what is good for them, since thinking of emperumAn, at the least, during their final moments in samsAram, will be eminent for them, as mentioned in thiruvAimozhi 1.3.8 “vaNakkodu mALvadhu valamE” (even if one were to surrender at the last moment of one’s life, it would be strong enough).
