For the sake of sIthAp pirAtti who is decorated with a cloth on her waist region, emperumAn went with an army which was bigger than the ocean and put lankA into flames and destroyed it, with his bow; such emperumAn is mercifully present in the dhivyadhESam thirukkaNNangudi and was sung by thirumangai AzhwAr who was the chief of the residents of thirumangai which is having mountain like mansions; AzhwAr is carrying a spear which will cause pride; such AzhwAr composed with tune this decad which is having pAsurams which are in the form of a garland of well-defined words; those who are able to recite this decad, will not lack bhagavAn [will always have bhagavAn for them].

kalai … – One who is mercifully present in thirukkaNNangudi was the one who became captivated in the cloth decoration of pirAtti and went along with a huge army of monkey devotees and put the lankA which cannot even be destroyed by brahmAsthram, into flames, with his bow.
malai … – AzhwAr is the chief of the residents of thirumangai which is having mountain like mansions. AzhwAr who is carrying the spear which causes pride in the one who holds it, mercifully composed with tune.
ulavu sol mAlai … – For those who can recite this decad which is complete in all qualities, AzhwAr is saying that there is no lack of bhagavAn.
