Previously in periya thirumozhi 8.10.9, AzhwAr said “pAttinAl unnai en nenjaththirundhamai kAttinAy” (through my pAsuram, you have shown your presence in my heart); bhagavAn says “You are such a great poet that you respect your own poems; you also have the great desire to visit all dhivyadhESams and enjoy as said in thirunedundhANdagam 10 ‘thAnugandha UrellAm than thAL pAdi‘ (Singing the glories of the divine feet of bhagavAn in all of his dear abodes); while remaining here, you are desiring to engage in all kinds of kainkaryams as said in thiruvAimozhi 3.3.1 ‘vazhuvilA adimai seyya vENdunAm‘ (We should perform all types of services without leaving anything) and doing such kainkaryam by singing these pAsurams Subsequently, at the end of your present body, I will carry you to paramapadham and listen to your words there as well, as said in thaiththirIya upanishath ‘ahamannam ahamannam ahamannam‘ (I am enjoyed, I am enjoyed, I am enjoyed). Hence, you have no shortcoming anywhere and hence you continue to visit my dear abodes and sing their praises” and shows his presence in thirukkaNNangudi. Seeing that, AzhwAr thinks “Being focussed on our protection, bhagavAn, who arrived in thiruppARkadal and mercifully resided there as said in periya thirumozhi 8.10.7 ‘veLLai nIr veLLaththu aNaindha aravaNai mEl‘ (mercifully reclining on thiruvanthAzhwAn (AdhiSEshan) who is gently lying on the flowing water of thiruppARkadal), has now arrived in thirukkaNNangudi, here” and sings and enjoys that perumAL/dhivyadhESam, and becomes blissful.
