Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
mAlAy … – Oh, mind which has gone crazy thinking “What will do meditating upon past sins”! Don’t worry about the sorrows which cannot be exhausted by experiencing the results; of the sins.
When the mind asks “How can we remain without grieving?” AzhwAr says
vali … – Isn’t this his state? The very strong marudha trees which were well rooted, very angry pUthanA; angry horse; donkey, the bulls which have huge forms, intoxicated elephant, the vital air of the wrestlers who jump around like mountains. He vanquished all of these; due to the delay in mother yaSOdhA’s arrival to feed bosom milk to him, he angrily lifted his feet and made sreSkatAsutra become smithereens.
