periyAzhwAr thirumozhi >> First Centum
In the earlier thirumozhi (divine verses) just as yaSOdhAp pirAtti enjoyed the divine limbs starting from divine feet to the divine locks, AzhwAr too enjoyed desirously, at the same time that she had. Now, just as she had laid krishNa in the cradle and enjoyed singing lullaby to him, AzhwAr too enjoys desirously, at the same time that she did.
For entities such as brahmA, ISan (rudhra) et all, in whichever place and with whichever divine form that sarvESvaran, who is superior to everyone else, who has no unfulfilled desire, who has no expectation in any way and who goes by the divine name of nArAyaNa, incarnates, when they see his presence, his divine activities and his reclining posture, they desire to carry out some servitude or the other. When yaSOdhAp pirAtti saw this through her imagination and put that in words as her lullabies to krishNa, AzhwAr too, since he had been showered with knowledge and devotion without any trace of doubt, saw that at the same time that she had seen, and composed lullabies for krishNa, mercifully bringing emperumAn’s eminence and simplicity through his pAsurams.
