Simple Translation

In order to give her infant krishNa a divine bath, yaSOdhAp pirAtti stretched out his divine hands and divine feet. She warmed up water in a vessel. She took a piece of fresh turmeric and dipped it in that vessel. She took another piece of turmeric in order to cleanse his divine tongue. When she opened his divine mouth for that, little krishNa showed her all the seven worlds inside his divine mouth and made her see them.

vyAkhyAnam (Commentary)

kaiyum kAlum nimirththu – stretching his divine hands and divine feet, apt for his soft divine form [being an infant]

kadAra nIr paiya Atti – she added healthy herbs and fragrant materials which are apt for his divine form, to the warm water taken in a vessel; she poured water on his divine form gently such that his divine form was not roughed up.

pasum siRu manjaLAl – this turmeric has to be added to both the previous term and the succeeding term. It was with a piece of turmeric which had small nodes that she gave krishNa the divine bath.

aiya nA …– she cleaned his soft, divine tongue with another piece of turmeric. When krishNa opened his divine mouth to enable her to clean his divine tongue, she saw all the worlds inside his divine mouth. Just as krishNa [during the mahAbhAratha war, in later years] granted divine eyes to arjuna in order to enable him to see his virAtrUpam (his form encompassing the entire universe), he gave yaSOdhAp pirAtti too divine eyes, to enable her to see all the worlds inside his small mouth. She saw inside his divine stomach, the aghatithagatanA sAmarthyam (ability to carry out impossible tasks) of vatapathra SAyi (emperumAn who was lying as an infant atop a tender banyan leaf) when he hid all the worlds inside his small divine stomach.
