Simple translation

In the flower in puNdarIkAkshan emperumAn’s divine navel, the great sky with clouds, oceans, moon and sun, earth, and anchoring mountains are present; the abode of such emperumAn is paramESvara viNNagaram which is in beautiful kAnchIpuram town which is surrounded by ponds, tall forts, and where the pallava king who has the firm bow which destroyed the strength of pANdiyan, the great charioteer and who made his wealth of valour remain firmly on the earth and where such king surrendered to such emperumAn there.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

kAr … – AzhwAr’s attachment is such that he did not see any difference between chakravarthith thirumagan (SrI rAma) vanquishing rAvaNa and pallava king vanquishing his enemies.

kAr … – Sky which is roamed by the clouds, moon and sun who live in such sky, ocean surrounding the earth, the earth which is bound by the ocean, the mountains which seem to be anchoring such earth are all present in the divine navel flower. The abode of such puNdarIkAkshan.

In the beautiful kAnchIpuram, which is surrounded by ponds and forts.

thEr … – pANdiyan who is a great charioteer who can travel/fight by remaining on a chariot.

seruvil – In the battle field.

munaiyil – In the forefront of the battle, the one who has the valour of the firm bow which destroyed the strength.

pAr … – One whose wealth of valour remained even after his demise.
