Simple translation
bhagavAn, who is mercifully residing in thirukkaNNapuram, is having the prominence of being revealed in vEdham; he is having SrI yagyOpavItham (sacred thread) which is shining on his divine form; he is spoken of expansively, worshipped, praised and is apt to be friendly with everyone. Oh, dragonfly which is present on a pole! Immerse in the thiruththuzhAy which is having pollens and fragrance, and blow its fragrance on me.
Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
vEdha mudhalvan – Am I speaking about the one who is spoken of by men, based on their own prefereneces? It is not speaking about the one who is spoken of by Agamam etc [ancillary literature]. But he is having the prominence of being exclusively and completely spoken of by unauthored, faultless vEdham
viLangu puri nUlan – As said in chAndhOgya upanishath “hiraNmaya: purusha:” (The lord has a golden form), he is having a beautiful form and a SrI yagyOpavItham which is shining on it.
pAdham … – Praising the divine feet incoherently, falling at those feet, everyone praises and shows their friendliness. I am asking you to pursue the one who is said in bruhadhAraNyaka upanishath “AthmAvA arE dhrashtavya: SrOthavya: manthavya: nidhidhyAsithvya:” (Oh maithrEya! bhagavAn is to be heard, contemplated and meditated upon, and seen).
thAdhu … – You should immerse into the thiruththuzhAy which is well blossomed and fresh, and then come here and blow on me.
