thirumangai AzhwAr meditated upon how thoNdaimAn chakravarthi acted favourably in thiruvattabuyagaram as in periya thirumozhi 2.8.10 “mannavan thoNdaiyar kOn vaNangum nILmudi mAlai” (sarvESvaran who has tall crown was worshipped in thiruvattabuyagaram by thoNdaimAn chakravarthi). In that context, there was a king named “pallavan” who acted very favourably, and increased emperumAn’s divine ornaments to manifold [Why are those ornaments not seen now?] Subsequently, a chOLa king took all those ornaments and placed in his treasury. Now, this AzhwAr would consider anyone with even a little bit of inclination towards bhagavAn, to be his goal. Due to that, as all his aspects of such pallavan are dear to him, he is joyfully talking about them.
