Simple translation

krishNa stretched his divine feet to make the wheel which was possessed by the demon, to go far away, and to fall down and be destroyed; to have rudhran, along with his armies and his family members, be defeated and run away, he severed the thousand shoulders of bANAsuran; the temple where he is residing is vaN purudOththam in thirunAngUr which is surrounded by halls and homes which have swaying. big flags which are embracing the vast sky and flying high to block the sun’s rays from those halls and homes.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

sAdu … – As SakatAsura approached when krishNa did not get mother’s milk on time, he lifted his divine feet to kill that demon; rudhran who considers himself to be the lord, came with his aides such as muNdan, nIRan et al and fought, and subsequently ran away along with all of them and krishNa severed the thousand shoulders of bANAsura who surrendered to other dhEvathA; the abode where he has come and is residing to eliminate the enemies of his devotees.
