emperumAn eliminated the sorrow of SrI gajEndhrAzhwAn who was having a strong trunk with hole and strong legs; previously emperumAn had jumped into the pond which is filled with beautiful water to cause fear in kALiya, the snake; such emperumAn’s abode is paramESvara viNNagaram in beautiful kAnchIpuram which is surrounded by ponds, where pallava king surrendered to the dhivyadhESam, and where he who is having snake flag came with great desire in the battle previously to cause bewilderment in pANdiyan who is having garden filled with honey and mountain like fort [in his town].

thUmbudai … – For SrI gajEndhrAzhwAn who is having a strong trunk with hole, having strong leg, emperumAn eliminated the sorrow inflicted by the crocodile.

aravam … – When kALiya poisoned a pond, emperumAn jumped into the pond to frighten him and make him run away.

thEn pozhil … – pallava king reached with great desire to battle thennavan (pANdiya king) who had the garden filled with honey in his surrounding, and mountain like fort, and caused bewilderment to him.

pAmbudai … – It is said that pallavan won over nAgalOkam and made snake his flag; the place where he surrendered.
