Simple translation

In the good night and good day, they remain accusing me, if they do so; aren’t those who are wearing ornaments, distinguished? We don’t know their talent. Here we don’t have shyness, ignorance and fear here. Even if they speak as much as they can and laugh at us, we will not forget emperumAn who is having a form similar to that of the best gemstone. Please carry me and place in thirukkuRungudi which is having gardens which are pervaded by growing, young mullai flowers.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

elliyum nanpagalum irundhu – The good night and the good daytime – goodness is since they are apt time for union with him and to meditate upon him; remaining in both these times, even if you were to accuse me, do it; whether it is the time spent in his embrace or time spent in his thoughts, if you make this love as a reason for your accusation, let it be. When we think about others’ loss, the time being favourable to think about him in itself will appear like a benefit. The time of separation remains as the cause for loss as said in thiruvAimozhi 7.2.1 “kangulum pagalum kaN thuyil aRiyAL” (She is not knowing about sleep both in the night and day).

EndhizhaiyAr nallAr – Aren’t they distinguished? What can those who are able to wear ornaments, not speak about? [They are not suffering in separation].

avar thiRam nAmaRiyOm – Only if they know [understand] our matters, we can know their matters.

When asked “What is the reason for not knowing?” parakAla nAyaki says

nAN … – Only if we have our possessions we can think about him; since their shyness etc are intact, they can speak; our shyness etc are not with us any more.

ingillai – We can only see those aspects which went to him.

vallana solli magizhvarElum – Even if they speak whatever they can with their mouth and laugh; even if they speak as in “she ignored her sthrIthvam (shyness) etc; still she did not forget him” and laugh at us.

mAmaNivaNNarai NAm maRavOm – They only ended up reminded us. Is forgetting in our hand? It is under the control of his divine form.

kollai … – Leaving behind the abode where not-forgetting is desired, please carry me and place me in the abode where we can see him with our eyes and enjoy him. In the abode, where a creeper need not remain on the ground and can spread on a supporting pole.
