I am not knowing that emperumAn is the one, who is mercifully reclining in thirukkudandhai, which is surrounded by pervaded water and where the neelOthpala flower which has its petals opened and is emanating the fragrance is present; he is holding divine chakra, which has reddish radiance, and divine conch; he is wearing shiningly radiant golden ornaments which are having many gemstones and pearls, to be worshiped by those who have tender feet; he is present with unique, four divine shoulders. How amazing is this unique person’s beauty!

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

thOdavizh … – He remained to be known as the youth who is mercifully reclining in thirukkudandhai where neelOthpala flower which has its petals opened, is emanating its fragrance and is surrounded by pervaded water.

senjudarAzhiyum sangumEndhi – He has decorated himself. He is holding thiruvAzhi and pAnchajanyam.

pAdaga melladiyAr vaNanga – He is worshipped by those who will fall at the feet of youthful persons.

panmaNi … – He has decorated himself with very shining ornaments with radiance, many types of gemstones and pearls. But when the divine shoulders were seen, it appeared that decorations are not required.

achchO oruvar azhagiya – This beauty cannot be described by us; we have to stop with being amazed.
