Simple translation

vAmanan is eternally residing in thirukkaNNapuram which is having enclosures, surrounded by orchards which are pervaded by honey. On such lord, thirumangai AzhwAr who owns thiruvAli region, which is surrounded by fertile fields which are in turn surrounded by the resounding ocean, and who is having desirable SrIvaishNavaSrI (wealth of servitude), mercifully spoke due to his compassion, this thamizh garland of ten pAsurams. Those who sing this thamizh garland will not be approached even by sins which were knowingly done by them.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

thEmaruvu … – The poem is in praise of vAmanan who is eternally residing in thirukkaNNapuram which is having enclosures, surrounded by orchards which are pervaded by honey. He is of the type that he will come as a seeker for his goal.

maRi … – thirumangai AzhwAr owns thiruvAli region which is having vast fertile fields which are surrounded by ocean; he is having SrIvaishNavaSrI which is desirable to all; as one sings this thamizh garland which was mercifully composed by AzhwAr, to have it well-fitting on the tongue, even those sins which were knowingly committed will go away; AzhwAr is saying “even if the pAsurams were recited without any understanding of the meanings or desire or anything else, the sins committed knowingly will go away – says AzhwAr.
