Simple translation

bhagavAn is mercifully residing in cool thiruchchERai where male swan is roaming around along with its spouse, in the fertile fields which appear like the dark hair of women which are decorated with beautiful flowers and then is sleeping under the cool shadow of the mango tree. On such bhagavAn, thirumangai AzhwAr who defeats the enemies with a chariot tied with horses which are running, mercifully spoke these ten pAsurams which are in the form of a garland. Oh devotees! Meditating upon these ten pAsurams, on his pure, beautiful, desirable divine feet, you decorate those divine feet with these pAsurams, performing anjali (joined palms) with your hands and worship him.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

pU mAN sEr … – Swans which are in the fertile fields, desiring to walk like the women who are having dark hair which is having beauty acquired by wearing flowers, thinking that if they walk alone they will not get to walk like that, roaming around along with their spouses. Since they could still not walk like those women, they become shy and take shelter of the cool shadow of the mango trees and sleep there.

vAmAn thEr … – Conducting the chariot with accelerating horses similar to how krishNa conducted arjuna’s chariot and destroyed the enemies, AzhwAr too destroys the enemies. Oh devotees who are having taste towards bhagavAn! Decorate the divine feet which are opposite to all defects and are desirable, with the thamizh garland made of these pAsurams which were mercifully composed with tune by AzhwAr. While doing that, you worship with your hands in anjali (joined palms) posture and proffer the garland.

In the next article we will enjoy the next pAsuram.
