Oh one who swallowed the moon and sun which are two radiant entities which are roaming with coolness and heat, the worlds and the residents of those worlds during deluge and assumed a very small child’s form and reclined on a banyan leaf in the ocean which is having agitated waves! Oh one who ruled me (even in the past)! Oh one who is eternally residing in the dhivyadhESam named thiruviNNagar! If you can bestow the unconditional grace to have me worship you, please do so. I don’t desire to be present in this samsAram.

nilavodu … – Along with coolness and heat. Roaming. Being the controller of moon and sun. Alternative explanation – moon and sun which are having coolness and heat respectively. Worlds and the creatures living in them. Keeping all of them in his stomach once during deluge, assuming a child with a very small form, Oh one who is having agatitha gatanA sAmarthyam (ablitiy to unite contradictory objects) and mercifully reclining on a newly sprouted banyan leaf on the agitated ocean!
ANdAy … – You need not unite contradictory aspects in me. You just need to shower your mercy to make me see you.
vENdEn … – There is no shortcoming in what I have to do.
