Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
ilai … – In the beautiful pond which is filled with leaves and spread with blossomed flowers, the intoxicated elephant which was roaming around, entered into an unnatural habitat, without realising what is coming and was tormented by an amphibian entity, and remained still without any activity; only the crocodile was acting; due to that it was shivering and became weak; at that time, bhagavAn came and helped the elephant.
alai nIr … – Though rAvaNa’s enmity would affect his brother too, bhagavAn, without seeing that aspect, gave rAvaNa’s younger brother, the lankA kingdom; even before that, he killed the mystical deer, which was arranged by as a result of rAvaNa’s enmity.
