Simple translation
My heart went behind the strong emperumAn who shot arrows with his bow to agitate lankA; until it returns, even if everyone accused me or speak about me in many ways, I sustained myself by listening to the false words of emperumAn who is mercifully present in thiruppullANi.
Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
villAl ilangai malanga – With the help of his bow (which is handled by humans), SrI rAma destroyed lankA which could not be destroyed by the weapons of the celestial beings which granted boons for rAvaNa. Since rAvaNa only had disregard for humans, he did not get a boon which will stop the humans from killing him. With the help of the bow held in his hand, SrI rAma made seven persons wear one person’s cloth [i.e. tormented them].
saram thurandha vallALan – The arrow will pierce the target according to the strength of the shooter.
vallALan pin pOna nenjam varum aLavum – parakAla nAyaki is saying “I won’t listen to your words anymore”. For those who said that his words are false, she is showing that his words are truthful in a way. She is saying “See! His acts are matching properly; my heart has left”. Until such heart returns.
ellArum ennai Esilum pEsidinum pullANi emperumAn poy kEttirundhEnE – Friends may say, “This is not apt”; mother(s) may say “This is not apt”. The intent is the same in both cases; she is not going to stop, just because they are asking her to stop. She need not enter [his town], as he acted.
pullANi emperumAn poy kEttirundhEnE – What is the benefit of the truthful or false nature in this world? It is attractive for me, because it is his untruthful aspect. It is the untruthful aspect of one who has vowed to protect others. I heard his untruthful aspects and sustained myself with that.
