Simple translation

Is emperumAn having great mercy like that of sun which makes the lotus flower release its tightness and blossom? I am not knowing; my mind is worshipping him. Oh friend! What is this? I have not seen him previously; his divine eyes are like beautiful, dense lotus flower; his divine hands are also like lotus flower; in the matter of his divine form, he remains like a dense, dark cloud on the sky.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

piNi … – Sun, with his hot rays, will make the lotus flower blossom. Unlike that, emperumAn remains as the one with great mercy, who would make the heart-lotus of those who have their sins eliminated, blossom.

yAn aRiyEn – I am unable to comprehend him, in this manner.

paNiyum en nenjam – Even without my intent, my mind is worshipping him.

idhu en kol thOzhi – I have not acquired any goodness in me, without your knowledge. Have we thought about emperumAn’s matters? [No]

paNdivar … – There is nothing we have done or spoken, from the past.

aNi … – The divine eyes, and the divine hands which are set out to embrace me, appear to be densely blossomed lotus.

mEni … – When we look at his divine form, it appears like a well-gathered cloud which is ready to pour down, instead of a cloud-fragment.

achchO oruvar azhagiyavA – We have explained bhagavAn who is of a completely different species, with the example from worldly elements; what have we done?
