Simple translation

When the entire earth was surrounded by the ocean, very strong emperumAn, assuming a varAha form which has a curved horn and body which is complete with beauty, brought out the earth. I, who am a servitor, got to see him in thirukkaNNapuram which is having surroundings pervaded by clouds and where crane with sharp beak jumps on Aral fish considering those to be its prey and the kayal fish were fleeing seeing that.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

pArAr … – Appearing as a varAha with a curved horn, when the entire earth was consumed by ocean.

ErAr uruvaththu – If we get to see such beauty filled form, we can endure thousands of deluges.

edhuththa ARRal ammAnai – sarvESvaran, who has the strength to pluck out the earth, which went and became attached to the wall of the oval shaped universe and rise.

kUrAr … – The crane which has sharp beak considered the Aral fish as its prey and jumps on those. At that time, the kayal fish will flee the spot.

kArAr … – In thirukkaNNapuram, which is having surroundings with constant movement of clouds.
