Simple translation
agil wood was used to add fragrance to the women’s locks which are covered with dust from the riding of chariots which have closely hoisted flags having clothes. Smoke from the fragrant materials as well as dust from chariots creaste a cloud-like smoke on the beautiful streets of the dhivyadhESam, thiruvazhundhUr. bhagavAn is having daytime and nighttime, earth and sky, matchless luminous objects and darkness as his wealth. Such bhagavAn’s eternal abode of thiruvazhundhUr is eternally desirable as in the case of paramapadham.

pagalum iravum … – Having what are known as “daytime” and “nighttime” as his wealth.
pArum viNNum thAneyAy – Having earth and sky as his wealth.
nigaril sudarAy iruLAgi ninRAr – Having darkness and light as his wealth, in this manner, bhagavAn who is having the entire creation as his form, has arrived here to manifest his distinguished [archA] form to be enjoyed by all. Such dhivyadhESam.
thugilin kodi … – Flag which is having densely tied clothes, the dust which rose due to the chariots coming into contact with each other, the people of the town will burn agil wood to add fragrance to the women’s hair; that appears like cloud and shows the rainy season. In the rainy season, wind, dust and clouds will all be present. In that, there was new wind created by the swaying of the flags. There was dust from the chariot wheels. The smoke which was created for the women’s hair appear like clouds. Thus, these three together made it look like rainy season in there always. Because of that, no one is able to enjoy the aspects which are specific for different seasons.
