Simple translation

Oh those who are desiring to reach the divine feet of krishNa who mercifully consumed the poison in pUthanA’s bosom to kill her, who is the controller of the ancient dhvArakA, who went behind the cows, playing the flute made of big leaf and who took away the ornaments such as bangles etc of the cowherd girls! Reach the dhivyadhESam named thirunaRaiyUr where the chOzha king, named sembiyan, who is having reddish eyes, is residing, who is the king of the region, which is having beautiful, divine kAvEri which is overflowing with water which is gathering and bringing the precious gemstones from the mountain slopes and giving for the prosperity of the whole world, and is holding the bow in his vast hand and who is born in kshathriya clan.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

mulaith thadaththa … – To have pUthanA killed, krishNa consumed the huge bosom of pUthanA which matched her form.

mudhu thuvarai … – Being the controller of SrImadh dhvArakA, he went behind the cows tending them by playing the flute made with huge leaf. Again, he returned to thiruvAyppAdi and took away the cowherd girls’ ornaments such as bangles etc. Oh those who are desiring to reach his divine feet and become uplifted!

malaith thadaththa maNi … – River kAvEri brings prosperity to whole earth by bringing the precious gemstones from the mountain slopes and pushing them here. The king who has such a region having kAvEri with abundance of water.

silaith thadakkai … – The dhivyadhESam which is reached by a very valourous person to manage his valour.
