To be rejoiced by the hearts of everyone who has seen him, emperumAn the benefactor, being very short vAmana, entered the sacrificial arena, appearing to be non-deceitful, begged saying “need three steps of land” and effortlessly scaled the sky, oceans which are here throwing up waves, and the worlds which are in the form of seven islands, and accepted all of these; he is eternally residing in the abode arimEya viNNagaram in thirunAngUr, which has rich garden near which the sound of musical instruments which reaches up to the sky, the humming of beetles which are joyful due to drinking honey, the chants of vEdham which is difficult to grasp, the sound of dancing women’s anklets which is similar to the sound of the ocean of deluge throwing up the waves which are reaching up to the wall of the oval shaped universe. Oh obedient heart! Surrender unto the emperumAn there.

kaNdavar tham manam magizha – Without any difference between favourable and unfavourable persons, to be rejoiced by the hearts of those who have seen him, in the sacrificial arena of mahAbali, without appearing that he has come to fulfil the task of dhEvathAs, he assumed the form of a very short vAmana where dwarfs in this world will appear like thrivikrama in front of him; he begged saying “I need three steps of land”, he scaled the sky, ocean which throws up waves and the islands; the abode where such benefactor is eternally residing.
