Simple translation
thirukkaNNapuram is pervaded with ponds, which have swans having beautiful gait which causes bliss and is based on the gait of the beautiful ladies; this is the abode of krishNa, who is our lord and who is having divine chest which is pressed by the bosoms of nappinnaip pirAtti who he married, after he broke the distinguished seven bulls.
Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
viyamudai vidaiyinam udai thara – viyam – distinction. That is – they came being triggered by kamsa. Alternatively – viyam – tall; it talks about having a tall form like that of a mountain, which causes fear. Such bulls broke down like a newly prepared pot.
mada magaL … – nappinaip pirAtti who is filled with noble qualities has bosoms; he [krishNa] is having mountain like vast divine chest which is pressed against those bosoms. Alternatively – when it is recited as “kuyamudai“, “kuyamudaith thadavarai” (the divine chest which has her bosoms) has become “kuyumadai thadavarai” (same meaning).
nayam … – The swans which have a gait which is attractive for anyone who sees that; those swans have learned their walking from the ladies of the town.
kayam idai kaNapuram adigaL tham idamE – thirukkaNNapuram, which is filled with ponds is the abode of our lord, krishNa.
