Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

vAr ALum … – Having the wealth of the presence of periya pirAttiyAr who is having youthful bosoms which are held by the corset, lengthy bamboo like shoulders, filled with noble qualities and natural femininity, his divine chest is as firm as a mountain. One who is having such divine chest.

thirukkaNNapuraththu uRaiyum pErALan – One who is having the eminence due to arriving in thirukkaNNapuram and presenting himself to be easily approachable.

Ayiram pEr … – Mercifully resting on the lap of thiruvananthAzhwAn who sways like a swaying mattress, where thiruvanthAzhwAn placed bhagavAn on his lap and with his thousand mouths, he recites the thousand divine names which bring anubhavam (experience) to the reciter. This is similar to mother yaSOdhA placing krishNa on her lap and gently swaying him. For such bhagavAn.

izhandhEn en pey vaLaiyE – Isn’t he the person who grants himself to those (like AdhiSEshan) who cannot live without him? She is saying – I believed he will eliminate our suffering in separation from him, but lost my bangle.
