thirukaNNapuram is pervaded by SrIvaishNavas who are friendly with each other in festive days to increase their auspicious qualities; this is the abode of our lord, krishNa, who crawled to break and fell the well joined marudha trees and who fought the bulls during the svayamvaram of nappinnaip pirAtti, who is having bosoms which are having abundant beauty in their togetherness, to unite with her.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

iNaimali – The two marudha trees which are joined together, appearing to be one and have previously discussed about killing krishNa; as they were on the path of his crawling, they broke and fell.

erudhu … – He fought with the bulls in nappinnaip pirAtti’s svayamvaram to unite with her bosoms which are very beautiful due to their togetherness.

maNam … – On the festive day when auspiciousness increases further; alternatively – maNam indicates holding hands, meaning – on the festive day when everyone stood close to each other and worshipped.

adiyavar aLaviya kaNa mali kaNapuram – thirukkaNNapuram where SrIvaishNavas are having their hearts in unison. It could also be said as – SrIvaishNavas are present in auspicious festival.
