Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

vAy eduththa mandhiraththAl – bhagavAn is mercifully residing in thirukkaNNapuram where brAhmaNas are performing their deeds which are to be done, making it shine with the fires and the loud recital of vEdha manthrams and nurturing the order of vEdham.

thAy … – He [krishNa] stole and mercifully consumed the butter and milk which have had physical contact with the touch of favourable persons, devotees. yaSOdhAp pirAtti, due to the difficulty by which they [buttter and milk] were gathered, picked up a stick in her hand. Without realising “She is the mother, she is just scaring me”, he became scared and ran away; thinking they will say “You stole”, to avoid that accusation, he smeared the butter on his mouth and face. For such loser, I became a loser.
