Simple translation

bhagavAn is mercifully reclining on the mattress known as thiruvananthAzhwAn who is having stripes, and is residing in thirukkaNNapuram which is having homes which are decorated with precious gemstones and are difficult to be differentiated from a mountain, due to the group of clouds which are black in colour in there and the smoke from agil (eaglewood); I lost my heavy bangle for such lord who effortlessly broke the tusks of kuvalayApeedam to cause fear in it which is having exultation fluid like streams of rain flowing and small, cruel eyes.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

ari viravu mugil kaNaththAl – By the group of dark clouds which have black colour spread everywhere, and the fragrant smoke which are caused by the residents of the town, darkness surrounds. Because of that darkness, we are unable to differentiate between the home and the mountain; one, who is mercifully residing in thirukkaNNapuram which is having mansions filled with gemstones.

vari … – Mercifully reclined on such thiruvananthAzhwAn who is having many stripes, having good fragrance, coolness and tenderness, as the mattress. kuvalayApeedam is having small eyes matching its species instead of large eyes matching its physical size. The stream of exultation fluid coming down from those eyes looks like stream of rainwater. To cause fear in it, krishNa effortlessly broke its tusks. I lost my bangle for such an act.
