AzhwAr became upset saying “pOna punidhar” (The pure one who left) in previous padhigam. bhagavAn showed him his presence in ugandharuLina kOyilgaL (dhivyadhESams where he had lovingly arrived) saying “Haven’t I arrived in these places for you only?”. He further says “Don’t you know that I am the one who came and helped the child (prahlAdhAzhwAn) when he vowed that? I have arrived in these places for you to engage with me, the way you desire to do so. I have come here to eliminate your hurdles and accept your service.” and showed AzhwAr his presence in thiruvazhundhUr. AzhwAr became satisfied on seeing that and enjoys him. As said in SrIvishNu purANa 2.6.48 “thadhEva kOpAya yatha: prasAdhAya cha jAyathE” (Same thing will cause anger sometime and joy at other times), this situation itself (enjoying archAvathAram in samsAram and lack thereof) is the reason for both gain and loss. Hence AzhwAr has now become satisfied.
