Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
amburuva … – Having beautiful eyebrows, having divine eyes which are having red and black lines, and are so expansive that even ISvaran, who enjoys them forever, will not be able to completely enjoy them. pirAtti is having lotus flower as her abode. Keeping her in his divine chest which looks like a mountain.
mallal komburuva … – Ignoring the fact that his divine form is pirAtti’s abode, he launched the demon who had come as the calf on the demon who had come as the wood apple tree; even the few steps which he had taken and took the stance of aiming at the target, formed a wonderful gait, and deserved an umbrella to be held, for their attractiveness. mallal – greatness.
vambu alarum … – In thiruchchERai where the rejuvenating orchard is present and which is always in spring season, the divine temple appears to be pushing up the sky, bhagavAn is eternally residing. Those who worship those divine feet.
eppozhudhum en manaththE irukkinRArE – I don’t see any space for bhagavAn who is said in bruhadhAraNyaka upanishath 6.5.6 “AthmA vA arE dhrashtavya: SrOthavya: manthavyO: nidhidhyAsithavya:” (AthmA (here the word AthmA refers to paramAthmA, the supreme being) is apt to be heard, to be thought of and to be meditated upon; it is apt to be seen).
