Simple translation

Desiring the town of kAnchIpuram which is surrounded by forts built with rocks, sarvESvaran is mercifully residing in the dhivyadhESam named thiruppAdagam, to let all creatures surrender unto him. Being my lord, he angrily destroyed the very strong body of rAvaNa, who was the king of lankA. He is having affection towards vibhIshaNAzhwAn. If we were to utter the divine name of such sarvESvaran, it is in the form of “namO nArAyaNa“.

kallAr madhiL … – Desiring kAnchIpuram which is having forts which are a protective layer, sarvESvaran is mercifully residing in thiruppAdagam, to be surrendered to, by everyone.

ilangai … – My lord who eliminated the very strong body of rAvaNa who was prideful thinking “Am I not the leader of this place?”, with his bow.

vIbIdaNaRku nallAn … – Just as SrI rAma had abundance hatred towards rAvaNa, the elder brother, he had the same amount of affection towards vibhIshaNa; the affection, which he collectively showed towards all the vAnaras, he showed just towards SrI vibhIshaNAzhwAn.

If we were to utter such bhagavAn’s divine name,

namO nArAyaNamE – nArAyaNa indicates one who has vAthsalyam (motherly forbearance).
