Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

uRiyAr … – Butter which was preserved in the ropes which are suspended on the ceiling in a secretive manner, was mercifully consumed by krishNa to make everyone wonder “Did some dhEvathA come and consume the butter?” But then they will determine that none other than krishNa would have stolen it and will bind him to the mortar; since he cannot sustain without the butter which has the physical contact of his devotees, he would remain bound; when he remains bound there, it will be difficult to differentiate between the mortar and krishNa – he will remain in such manner.

veRiyAr … – For the sake of nappinnaip pirAtti who is having abundantly fragrant hair, he killed the seven bulls; the abode of such krishNa.

poRiyAr … – In the gardens which are fully with blossomed flowers, the multi-coloured peacocks will dance.

naRu nAN … – The beetles which entered into the freshly blossomed lotus flowers, will sing matching the steps placed by the peacocks.
