Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
thoNdar … – As said in vishNu dharmam “sangaissurANAm …” (groups of dhEvas from the heavenly planets, groups of humans from earth, dwellers from celestial vehicles in the sky, glorified thrivikrama. Let such thrivikrama who measured the world be there for my auspiciousness), as the devotees gathered and praised, a part of his divine form [i.e. divine foot] reached up to the sun and the whole sky was pervaded by him, the lord. The divine abode of such lord.
aNdaththu amarum – As the keNdai fish are shining due to their strength in water-bodies with sediment and having waves.
koNdal adhirum kUdalUrE – Seeing the lustre on the fish, the cloud considers it to be lightning and roars with the noise of thunder which follows lightning usually. Their act is similar to vAmana being seen here while accepting the water and immediately seen as thrivikrama up in the sky.
