Highlights from nampiLLai‘s vyAkyAnam as documented by vadakkuth thiruvIdhip piLLai
- kOyil koNdAn … – He accepted thirukkadiththAnam as his distinguished abode.
- kOyil … – Thinking “seruppu vaiththuth thiruvadi thozhuvAraip pOlE Aga oNNAdhu” (one cannot peacefully worship emperumAn, having his / her sandals outside the temple), along with thirukkadiththAnam, he mercifully entered my heart too [here it implies that emperumAn cannot remain peaceful by just staying in thirukkadiththAnam as he is looking to enter AzhwAr‘s heart mainly].
- kOyil koL … – Every one of them [nithyasUris] will have his/her own abodes/temples – thiruvadi (garudAzhwAr), thiruvananthAzhwAn (AdhiSEsha), sEnai mudhaliyAr (vishvasEnar) and so on; sarvESvara who has SrIvaikuNta as his abode/temple to be worshipped by all of them. Such sarvESvaran incarnated as krishNa and danced with pots; to eliminate that fatigue, he accepted thirukkadiththAnam as his abode; along with that, he accepted my heart as his abode; as said in periyAzhwAr thirumozhi 5.2.10 “azhagiya pARkadalOdum” (along with the milk ocean), since his presence in thirukkadiththAnam was to attain me; just as one discards the means after attaining the goal, since emperumAn attained me by being in that abode, he entered in my heart along with that abode.
