emperumAn at that time (in the past) angrily killed the seven bulls; to make the vAnara army reach thrikUta parvatham, he built a bridge on the ocean; he is greater than all and is having a very radiant form; such emperumAn is having thirukkaNNapuram as his exclusive eternal abode, which is surrounded by fertile-fields which are filled with neelOthpala flowers which are pervaded in the channels; will I, who am a servitor of such emperumAn, become subservient to anyone else?
Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
vidai … – Angrily killed the seven bulls, built a bridge across the ocean to let everyone reach thrikUta Sikaram as said in periya thirumozhi 6.10.6 “kAna eNgum kurangum musuvum padaiyA” (an army of bears, monkeys and gOlAngUla monkeys from the forests). Alternative explanation – in the mountain of sunset, to make others believe that the sun has set, krishNa concealed the radiance of the sun with the thiruvAzhi (sudharSana chakra).
paraman – One who lacks an equal or higher person.
param jOdhi – One who is having the radiance due to eliminating the hurdle for pirAtti.
madai … – For the one who is having thirukkaNNapuram which is surrounded by fertile-fields having channels filled with neelOthpala flower, as his abode. It appears that being the lord of thirukkaNNapuram is greater than being the lord of SrIvaikuNta.
adiyEn – AzhwAr is talking about his own nature which is to be a SEshabhUtha (servitor). He is informing that he belongs to no one else other than bhagavAn. He is informing that he belongs to the one who is with a distinguished vibhUthi (thirukkaNNapuram).
