Simple translation
The dhivyadhESam named thiruvazhundhUr, where the bird along with its loving female went searching for food for its little one, is searching for fish in the fertile fields which are having mud, and is surrounded by very beautiful fertile fields. In the ocean of deluge, bhagavAn remained fixed on the banyan leaf and then entered the heart of me, his servitor, remained as the target of my heart and eyes, and is always mercifully residing. Such bhagavAn’s eternal abode is eternally desirable as in the case of paramapadham.
Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
veLaththuL … – Mercifully reclining on a freshly appeared banyan leaf on the ocean of deluge.
adiyEn manam pugundhu – Causing worry as in “He is reclining on the deluge; there is no yaSOdhAp pirAtti to care for him there; what is going to happen?” As such talk occurred, he entered my heart having such talk as the reason, and then became the target of my eyes to eliminate the thought “He is enjoyable in my heart but not physically enjoyable through my eyes” and became the target of the heart too so that it does not go behind other things.
ninRa Ur pOlum – This abode is like paramapadham where he is visible to the eyes of the residents there.
puLLup piLLaikku … – The bird which was going to find food for its little one, instead of going alone, went with its spouse which is to be identified by its love towards it.
aLLal seRuvil kayal nAdum … – The bird which will stay away from mud, will roam over such mud, due to the enjoyable nature there. This bird appeared to be similar to mahAvarAha bhagavAn who entered the ocean of deluge for the sake of protecting the world.
