Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

mA vaLarum … – The divine mother said that she cannot be withdrawn. The mother said “Like that of a deer, she saw with her expansive, soft eyes, the amazing personality, matching the beauty of her eyes”.

kA vaLarum kadi pozhil … – Fragrance in garden flooded everywhere on the earth. pozhil – earth. The gardens were grown on their own but looked like they were made by someone. The gardens which surround the town look like that.

pA vaLarum …– Not having any shortcoming in poetic meter, i.e. being complete in poetic rules. kaRpaga tree is usually identified along with higher worlds. In paramapadham, as said in thiruvAimozhi 10.9.6ANmingaL” (should rule over), being the controllers, those who learnt these pAsurams will be the goal for the nithyasUris.

In the next article we will enjoy the next pAsuram.
