Simple translation
bhagavAn, who is jalaSAyi (one who reclines on water), is reclining in this dhivyadhESam which is having the divine name siRupuliyUr, where reddish lotus flowers are blossoming in waterbodies where waves are agitating, and the abode where dhEvathAs are surrendering unto you and praising daily, saying “Oh, my lord!”. Oh, one who is having beautiful, lotus-like divine feet! Shower your mercy in the matters related to me, your servitor, to not reach this imperishable, long-lasting samsAram which is as bad as hell.
Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
nandhA nedu naragaththidai – To not make enter this samsAram which is a long-lasting hell where there is no break.
nALum … – The abode where brahmA et al remain eternally, saying “My lord”, surrendering unto him and praising him.
eRi nIr … – In siRupuliyUrch chalasayanam, in the ponds which are having abundant water, the lotus flowers are blossoming due to the dense water, there.
am thAmarai adiyAy – Oh, one who is having divine feet which resembles fresh lotus flower!
unadhu adiyERku aruL puriyE – Let others be in whatever way; you should mercifully shower your mercy upon me who has no refuge other than you.
