Simple translation
sarvESvaran is the lord of nithyasUris, who is having very beautiful cloud like form and is mercifully present in the dhivyadhESam named siRupuliyUrch chalasayanam. bhagavAn, who is jalaSAyi, is mercifully reclining in this place, which is having opulent and lengthy divine streets. thirumangai AzhwAr, the lord of the residents of thirumangai region, which is having blackish fertile fields, mercifully spoke on such sarvESvaran, these pAsurams which are in the form of a garland. As the residents of earth recite these and surrender unto such bhagavAn, no sin will approach them.
Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
sIr Ar … – In siRupuliyUrch chalasayanam which is having lengthy streets which reveal its opulence, bhagavAn is mercifully reclining with a beautiful cloud like form.
imaiyOr perumAnai – When asked “Who is mercifully reclining there?” he is none other than the one who is said in thiruvAimozhi 1.1.1 “ayarvaRum amarargaL adhipadhi” (the lord of nithyasUris who are faultless).
kAr Ar vayal mangaikku iRai – Explaining that the clouds are always roaming in this town; or the fertile fields are blackish in colour (implying well-grown crops). AzhwAr, who is the controller of such thirumangai region, mercifully spoke these pAsurams with tune.
pArAr ivai paravith thozha pAvam nillAvE – Even though these people are present in the place (samsAra) where there is scope for acquiring sin, as they recite these pAsurams and surrender unto him, the sins will go away saying “This is not the place for us”.
