Simple translation
Divine kAvEri river is gathering the sandalwood tree, agil logs, gold and precious gemstones which are shining in the sahya mountain and pushing them into the fertile fields flowing through the channels, with rising waves. thiruvazhundhUr is having the wealth due to the abundantly flowing divine kAvEri. It is an ornament for this leelA vibhUthi. emperumAn is the lord of nithyasUris and is joyfully residing in such dhivyadhESam. SrI gajEndhrAzhwAn, who is the chief among elephants, having best pedigree and is intoxicated, entered the pond. At that time, the strong crocodile caught SrI gajEndhrAzhwAn’s feet and pulled it in. SrI gajEndhrAzhwAn called out saying “Oh one who is having cool radiance of the radiant moon which is expansive due to the moonlight which makes it shine everywhere!”. bhagavAn mercifully arrived there and mercifully got rid of its mental agony. Behold that bhagavAn, who manifested such vision to me and became pure due to that.
