Simple Translation
Reclining atop AdhiSEshan, having the form of an apt bluish gemstone, being the divine son of SrI vasudhEvar, krishNa has donned a chain made of conch beads on his divine waist. He has donned an ornament with the form of tortoise on his divine neck. With his shining, cool, white divine teeth which are like buds and which appear on a high location when he smiles with his divine reddish mouth, just like the bud of nascent moon appearing on a tender branch in the reddish sky, will he not take tender steps?
vyAkhyAnam (Commentary)
sekkar … – just like the bud of the eminent nascent moon [sprouting moon] which appears on a tender branch on the reddish sky.
thiruvAimozhip piLLai, in his svApadhESam, says that the sky was such reddish that the tender branch of a tree was also reddish.
nakka … – with krishNa smiling, on the high location of his divine lips which are reddish, the bud of a single tooth, which is cool and white, is shining splendorously.
akku vadam uduththu – donning the chain of beads, made out of conch, on his divine waist.
thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that this could also be silver chain, since the term akku also refers to silver.
AmaiththAli pUNda – donning the distinguished ornament, which is in the form of tortoise, on the divine neck.
thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that this ornament was appropriate for his herd-clan.
anantha sayanan – this is being mentioned, considering the root of incarnation, just as it has been mentioned in harivamSam 113-62 “nAgaparyankam uthsrujya hyAgatha:” (coming, after getting up from the mattress of AdhiSEshan).
thakka mAmaNi vaNNan – having the divine complexion of an apt blue gemstone.
thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that krishNa had the complexion of a splendorous bluish gemstone which was most apt to his divine form. Both the object of comparison and the entity which it is compared with are exactly alike, without any distinction between them.
vAsudhEvan … – will not the divine son of SrI vAsudhEvar, take tender steps?
thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that this would also refer to one who is residing, everywhere. He further says that this entity is also the one mentioned as the divine son of SrI vasudhEvar.
