thArEn piRarkku … – I will not give to anyone else. I will not share your mercy with anyone else. What does it mean when he says like this? It implies that AzhwAr is the recipient of bhagavAn’s mercy fully. No one else. You have placed your mercy which has no shortcoming, on me.
ArEn adhuvE parugi … – After enjoying your mercy, instead of being satisfied, I desired for your mercy more and more and due to the joy acquired from such enjoyment, I became prideful and started roaming around, stepping on the heads of yama et al.
kArEy … – I desired for you, who came to me with desire. Having clouds looking over.
kadalE malaiyE thirukkOttiyUrE … – Just as saubhari (the sage) assumed many (50) forms [to marry 50 girls], he is residing in every one of those abodes, as if he is not present anywhere else.
