Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
kidandha nambi … – The beauty of bhagavAn is more in thirukkudandhai’s reclining posture than his presence in paramapadham and thiruppARkadal. He is mercifully reclining there with complete beauty without us having to worry, saying “What if we lose this sight if bhagavAn changes his posture to standing and sitting?” He has no shortcoming in the skill to dig out the earth which got stuck to the wall of the oval shaped universe.
engaL nambi – One who is having the completeness to eliminate the shortcomings of ours, who are identified by shortcomings only, due to being samsAris.
eRigyar … – Having completeness in valour due to destroying lankA where cruel demons have gathered, by destroying the forts of the enemies. Being complete in endless, amazing activities in measuring the vast earth by two steps. If we were to utter the divine name of such sarvESvaran, it is in the form of “namO nArAyaNa“.
