Simple Translation
While girls in thiruvAyppAdi were playing with sand, building houses, using small winnows and small pots, keeping their pet bird, myna, on their forearms, krishNa will grab their hands, steal all these from them and run away. Oh, women who are wearing eminent ornaments! Come and have a look at his divine forehead.
vyAkhyAnam (Commentary)
muRRilum … – little girls in thiruvAyppAdi are playing, building small houses with sand, using winnows and small pots. They are also playing with myna birds, their pets, speaking with them.
paRRi … – krishNa catches their hands, stealing the winnows, pots and myna birds, and runs without getting caught. He is the lord of indulging in mischiefs.
neRRI … – look at the beauty of his divine forehead, on which little droplets of sweat have formed, on account of this exertion. Oh, women, who are donning subtle ornaments, come and have a look at his divine forehead. Subtlety for ornaments comes on account of making them with subtle hands and minds; they are apt for the softness of the women who wear them. In his svApadhESam, thiruvAimozhip piLLai says that the term nE rizhaiyIr refers to ornaments which need not be removed even during union. In other words, this term refers to ornament for the soul which deals with subtle knowledge about emperumAn.
