Simple translation
emperumAn is eternally residing in thirukkaNNapuram, which is surrounded by water which is coming along with waves, which are carrying creepers which have densely grown corals and curved, roaring conches. His strong, mountain like shoulders are decorated with fragrant thiruthuzhAy garland; to have those shoulders swaying, the great benefactor, sarvESvaran lifted up the gOvardhana mountain. I have lost my beautiful bangle to such sarvESvaran.
Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
karai eduththa – Roar is said as “karai”. This roar could indicate – a) as the conches climb atop the waves in groups, those who are on the banks would say “How big is each of those conches!” b) alternatively, the conch will naturally make noise, that is said here.
kana … – The creeper of the densely grown coral. The waves are bringing about the abundance of water. Being eternally present in such thirukkaNNapuram.
virai … – He stood having his shoulders sway and held gOvardhana mountain to eliminate the sufferings which came about for the herds and herd-folk. I lost my beautiful bangle to the Apathsakan (friend in need) who is savESvaran, who is having divine shoulders which are having very fragrant thiruththuzhAy garland, great strength and are like mountains.
