In the previous thirumozhi (decad), AzhwAr said “bhagavAn is the only refuge”; people ask him “In such case, what should we do?” AzhwAr says “Instead of ending up facing disaster due to listening to the words of bhAhya (those who reject vEdham) and kudhrushti (those misinterpret vEdham), surrender unto the lotus feet of bhagavAn who is the apt refuge and see that you are uplifted”.
